Accredited Programs are the ones out there striving to be the best! Programs that have gone through the AEE Accreditation process have distinguished themselves in the growing field of experiential education. At the time of the accreditation review, programs must demonstrate compliance with the standards for adventure programs in experiential education. These are the only published standards in the field of adventure/experiential education and have been in development for over 20 years. AEE accredits a wide variety of adventure organizations including wilderness programs, colleges and university outdoor programs, K-12 school programs, wilderness therapy programs, youth programs, and corporate training and teambuilding programs.
