The 2012 Rocky Mountain Regional AEE Conference will take place March 23 -25 at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

WORKSHOP:
Adventure & Experiential Facilitation: Tools for Today's Practitioner Working with Children, Youth and Families
 
This 6.5-hour workshop will familiarize participants with an adventure–based model of facilitation and demonstrate its use in actively engaging children, youth and their families around a variety of therapeutic issues. This workshop will be valuable for professionals who work with youth who are looking for hands-on experience and modeling of how to incorporate adventure activities into their practice.

The Northwest Regional AEE Conference will be held April 13-15, 2012 in Squamish, BC. Canada. Early-bird deadline is March 15, 2012.

The Southeast Regional Conference will take place April 20-22, 2012 at Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC.

WORKSHOP:
101 experiential techniques for counselors and therapists

The purpose of this workshop is to provide informative methods of enriching therapeutic technique through the use of experiential methodology. Rather than just “talking the talk” part of therapy, this workshop will provide methods of “walking the talk” to enrich therapeutic techniques and assist clients in reaching their therapeutic objectives more effectively.
