NAALA is a professional group that invites all people of the world to participate. The purpose of this group is to elevate the consciousness of AEE's membership toward oppression, exploitation and human suffering, and to advocate for social and economic justice within the experiential education profession by developng and implementing strategies for sharing power.

  • The UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) is an advisory body to the Economic and Social Council, with a mandate to discuss indigenous issues related to economic and social development, culture, the environment, education, health, and human rights.
  • At the UNPFII website, you will find the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the State of the World's Indigenous Peoples report, information about the Second International Decade on the World's Indigenous People, awareness-raising videos about Indigenous Peoples and the United Nations, the UNPFII's quarterly newsletter The Message Stick, information regarding meetings with the Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples , and the newly-created Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
