Post Conference Activities in Montreal

Professional Development

In addition to the AEE pre-conference options, there are two additional post-conference educational offerings being organized by Boreal River and the Canadian Adventure Therapy Symposium.

- Boreal River will be offering a Wilderness First Responder course November 12-16th. This course is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to become certified as a Wilderness First Responder or needs to renew their certification. CLICK HERE for more information!

- For additional professional development, check out The Canadian Adventure Therapy Symposium (CATS) on November 12th!
CATS exists to promote and provide professional development for Adventure Therapy in Canada. We have hosted regional conferences in many provinces in Canada with the North and Saskatchewan/Manitoba in our sites for future regional gatherings. To date we have hosted five gatherings.  Adventure Therapy is given a broad definition among our ranks.  We are adventure, nature, and wellness connected practitioners mostly under the umbrella outdoor education label, from clinical psychologists to family therapy to travel guides and much in between.

Sights and Activities

This is also an incredible opportunity to explore one of the most vibrant cities on the eastern seaboard. With a distinct European flair, the buzz of an endless night life, and more restaurants per capita than anywhere else in North America, Montreal has an "Old World feeling, with New World energy."  We've partnered with the Montreal Tourism Office to offer AEE delegates exclusive offers so you can fully experience that "Je Ne Sais Quoi" quality.
