Go to ERIC Advanced Search website. The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) is a federally funded national information system that provides a variety of services and products on a broad range of education-related issues. The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information and contains more than 1 million abstracts of documents and journal articles. Articles are not available for purchase through ERIC. Go to: www.eric.ed.gov/ERICWebPortal/Home.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=advanced.

Single Issues and Article Photocopies
Current and back issues of JEE are available for purchase ($35) through AEE's eStore, as are individual articles ($10/copy).


Online search and document services through which individual JEE articles can be obtained:

  • Full-text articles and abstracts from the Journal of Experiential Education are available through ProQuest. ProQuest is available at 100 percent of academic libraries, 85 percent of universities, and through many public libraries. Through ProQuest, abstracted and full-text content from May 1, 1998 through the current issue is available electronically. Articles published between the spring of 1978 and April 1998 are available in microform format.   • Online full-text articles from 2001 on are available via EBSCO to EBSCO institutional subscribers for free. Most libraries subscribe to EBSCO.

JEE Article Reproduction
To request permission to copy articles from the Journal of Experiential Education or other AEE books or publications, email publications@aee.org or fax (303-440-9581) a permission request form referencing the article title and author, the volume and number of the issue in which the article appears, and specifying usage (quantity of copies and how the copies will be used). We will review your request and notify you promptly whether permission has been granted or denied. If permission is denied, then you will have the option of purchasing copies of the articles/issues/texts. If you fax your permission request, please follow up with an email.
