We are very excited to announce that our next regional conference will be held at an AEE member location: Harmony Farms in Georgetown, KY on Feb. 24-26, 2023! Come enjoy community, learning, and rest at a therapeutic farm.
Schedule:
Come help create a conference you want to attend! For workshops we are holding two design sessions on Jan. 31st (7:00pm-8:30pm) and Feb. 1st (10:30am-12:00pm). We are offering two sessions because a huge chunk of our membership is in the field during business hours and another chunk keeps normal business hours, so you only need to attend one.These sessions will be designed for conference attendees to discuss what workshop topics they are interested in and to identify the people in our community with the knowledge and skills to put those workshops together. It’s a modified open space model that gives more time for the presenters to prep while still allowing attendees to help create the conference. If you are unable to attend one of these two planning sessions, let us know what topics you would like to see and we can include those in our process.

We are excited to offer the pay what you can pricing model again this year. This model aligns with our values of equity, inclusion and community.
Please consider the value you expect this conference will provide to you, and the value a dollar has in your life as you decide what to pay. Please keep in mind all of the proceeds go directly to support AEE. Please review the below recommended amounts and pay what you can. These are recommendations, not requirements (however, we ask that $40 be the minimum donation):
$120 or more: Professional non-member (or those looking to support AEE and the conference even more!)
Lodging/Transportation Options:
There is limited on-site camping available. Alternatively, there are several affordable offsite lodging options available. If you would like assistance in finding a roommate or carpool option, you can join the CONFERENCE SLACK CHANNEL.
