Facing the Future Together: Pathways for Lasting Connections
In an era marked by rapid change and shifting social landscapes, experiential educators are positioned to help individuals and communities build connections to the land, each other, and to themselves. Facing the Future Together: Pathways for Lasting Connections invites us to explore how play, outdoor experiences, and relationship-centered practices can strengthen the bonds that make life meaningful.
This year’s Rocky Mountain AEE Regional Conference challenges us to consider:
-
How do we cultivate authentic connection across cultures, ages, abilities, and identities?
-
How can outdoor and experiential environments become spaces for healing, collaboration, and creativity?
-
What pathways help us navigate an uncertain future while honoring past wisdom and present needs?
We welcome submissions that deepen our understanding of connection through playful and outdoor-based approaches; demonstrate relevance to diverse populations and outdoor environments; and that support practitioners across all levels—from emerging facilitators to seasoned professionals.
Join us March 12-15 in Phoenix, Arizona for a weekend of learning, connecting, and memory making.
