Welcome to The Association for Experiential Education

The Association of Experiential Education (AEE) is a global community of experiential educators and practitioners with the shared goal of elevating the field of Experiential Education.
------
We enrich the experiential education community through regional and annual conferences, defining professional standards, providing accreditation to organizations, and presenting the latest news and research through AEE E-news and the Journal of Experiential Education.

SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT

Support the Evolution of AEE as We Impact Experiential Learning Worldwide

AEE is a collection of extraordinary, impactful, compassionate individuals. Through our efforts, we create a better educational experience for children. We foster life-changing opportunities for adults, young and old. We build better relationships among groups of people. We change lives.

Did You Know?

The Association for Experiential Education was founded in 1972, and currently has over 1,800 members, from 35 countries. Our members influence and inspire over one million individuals each year, with our 62 accredited programs working with over 300,000 people annually.
-
From November 2019 to November 2020 we are asking you to support the evolution of AEE as we impact experiential learning worldwide. This is our movement in promoting experiential learning, adventure education, social justice and the healing nature of the outdoors.
Our aim is to raise over $100,000 and to have at least 50% of our membership give by next year's conference.

Gain access to even more resources and networking opportunities by joining our community and becoming an AEE member!
