Andrew Farris

Andrew comes to the Accreditation Council with over 15 years of experience in the outdoors. With a degree in Adventure Recreation from Green Mountain College, Andrew has facilitated adaptive recreation opportunities for people with physical and cognitive disabilities, worked with juvenile cancer patients, provided leadership development experiences to youth and corporate groups, guided people receiving mental health care on backcountry trips, been an administrator of a hybrid residential treatment program that conducted said backcountry trips, and worked in an intensive outpatient treatment program helping emerging adults establish their autonomy. He lives in the Western Maine Mountains with his partner Kate and dog Maggie.
