Paul Wolf

Paul is a retired Professor of Outdoor Leadership and Adventure Therapy with undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Psychology, and graduate degrees in Experiential Education and Educational Leadership.
He spent years as an Outward Bound Instructor leading canoe, hiking, and climbing expeditions across the US and Canada — and has designed and built custom challenge courses as far afield as Jamaica and Patagonia.
Paul serves as Standards Chair of the AEE International Accreditation Council and edits the Manual of Accreditation Standards for Outdoor and Adventure Programs. He received the Rebecca Carver ABC Award for Excellence in Teaching and was recently inducted as a "Mountain Legend" by Lees McRae College.
Paul is the Chief Experience Officer of Onsight Adventures and keeps doing what he loves, curating custom outdoor experiences across Western North Carolina and beyond.
