I have truly found my professional home with AEE every since attending my first Best Practices in 2010. I have since grown professionally within this community and love volunteering my time with the organization. I have been on the leadership committee with TAPG and held several volunteer roles over the years (conference convener, vice chair, chair). I have also volunteered with Kidference and being on the host committee for AEE.

Location:  Columbus, Ohio, USA  / Indigenous land of the Shawnee, Mingo, Delaware, and Wyandot

Years involved with AEE / TAPG: 15 years  Previous roles: TAPG LC: Pre-conference committee, pre-conference convener, Vice-chair, Chair AEE: Kidference convener, Conference committee.
What does TAPG mean to you?
It started out as a professional community and over the years has become a place where I have met many chosen family members. I have professionally grown up within this community surrounded by consistence love and support. This group provides a safe space for authenticity and growth while challenging and acknowledging the squiggly's when they arise.
What does adventure mean for you in your own life?
Adventure is in everything, life is an adventure. Anything from traveling  hiking/climbing/camping/backpacking/paddle-boarding/crossfiting to building/remodeling with my partner, dog walks, co-parenting a teenager, and afternoon city explorations :)
