Join the AEE Southeast (AEESE-ah!) for our next regional conference on February 26-27, 2027 at the Life Adventure Center in Versailles, KY.

Inspired by the remarkable Dolly Parton, Great Daughter of our region, this conference celebrates the metaphors of butterflies & rhinestones, aspirations & inspirations, growth & "glimmers". Dolly's art & leadership is a legacy of active choices to love people and be responsible to our communities - choices experiential practitioners make every day to facilitate TRANSFORMATION in individuals and organizations. 12 workshop sessions, 6 hours of programming, 5 shared meals, countless networking opportunities - Join us for Global Community, Adventure and Challenge, Reflective Leadership, Social Justice, The Natural World, and Creative Play.

COSTS:
$115/ person for 2 days of programming & 5 meals
$75/ person for 1 day of programming & 3 meals
*Presenters & Military receive a discount on registration costs. Please reach out to southeastaee@gmail.com for the code.
LODGING:
IS NOT INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION!
Option 1: On-site, "communal style lodging. Participants will have access to temperature controlled shared living quarters and shower/restroom facilities. Our Bunkhouse has restroom facilities inside the building. Our primitive cabins require a short walk to facilities." Register through the host site. 
Option 2: Best Western, Lawrenceburg, KY ($123/ rm per night)
ADDITIONAL/ OPTIONAL THURSDAY EVENING EVENT:
Attendees can reach out to the location directly to register for an OPTIONAL Thursday evening programming event OR make reservations for on-site lodging. 
The Southeast Region includes the following states:

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee

Regions play a significant role in AEE by providing opportunities for members in a particular geographic region to learn and grow together. Regions meet regularly (in person or via Zoom!) to plan Regional events and generally work to elevate the capacity of Experiential Education in a particular geographic area. Regions are led by dedicated volunteer leaders, and regional conferences are volunteer-run.

Regional events serve as a time and a place for conference attendees to come together, to learn and to grow, to celebrate experiential education, and to create community.
