Join us as we explore the complex relationship between digital technology and participant presence in outdoor education. In a field where being fully engaged with each other and the natural world is paramount for learning and safety, the use of technology presents a unique challenge.

This webinar will examine how digital tools, such as mobile devices, can both distract participants and facilitators, potentially creating barriers to social connection and a deeper experience of place, while also exploring how they can be used to enhance learning and engagement.
Our discussion will focus on research-based findings from two studies. Whether you're a seasoned outdoor educator or new in the field, this webinar will help you navigate this balancing act, ensuring technology serves to enhance, not detract from, the core mission of your programs.
