New Directions Youth and Family Services helps children with emotional and behavioral problems along with their families. The experiential education activities include the Equestrian Program and the Adventure Recreation Program. All of the activities use challenge by choice.? A youth is never forced to participate but with the confidence attained through instruction and through the support of the group the youth is willing to try. New Directions' services include residential treatment group homes non-secure detention therapeutic foster care educational services supervised independent living and preventive & community-based treatment.
